Irving Klaw had a business in New York City selling a range of materials from movie star photographs to movies and comics with bondage themes. He started out as a bookseller who found that pinup photos sold better. By the late 1950 his monthly mail order catalogs offered a wide range of materials, including thousands of pinup, burlesque and clothing fetish photographs.

This book offers a sampling of the photographs he sold without focusing on famous models like Bettie Page (she is not represented) or exceptional images.
